1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MurmurTone ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

"We," "us," and "our" refer to MurmurTone and its developers. "You" and "your" refer to the user of the Software.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for a 14-day evaluation period ("Trial Period"). During the Trial Period:

3.1 Current Pricing

The current Pro license price is $49 per year (USD). This is "Early Access" pricing and may increase for new customers in the future.

3.2 Price Lock Guarantee

If you purchase during the Early Access period, your renewal rate is locked at $49/year for as long as you maintain a continuous subscription. If you cancel and later resubscribe, you will pay the then-current rate.

3.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record (powered by Stripe). By purchasing, you also agree to Polar's terms of service. We never receive, store, or process your payment card information directly. All payment data is handled securely via Polar's hosted checkout.

3.4 Automatic Renewal

Pro licenses automatically renew annually unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your payment account or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

We reserve the right to discontinue the Software or any features with reasonable notice. If we discontinue the Software entirely, we will provide prorated refunds for unused subscription time.

MurmurTone and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The Software incorporates open-source components which are subject to their respective licenses. These components remain the property of their respective owners.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
